When we first declared the 24th to be the start of the new war, one of the hotly debated topics was if we should actually have it start on the 24th, as we would be canceling the battles for Easter (and Easter dinners, etc).

As a deist, I'm offended that we must halt for a religious holiday that not all of us will celebrate.

On a serious note, whatever I don't really care, deism just means I think he exists, but I don't like him all that much. Easter just means diabetes to me. Skip the 24th if you like. Doesn't affect me in the slightest.

Also this is not the only reason, we want to make sure that everything runs great during battlenight and if it doesn't we have an extra week to work on the issue.

I remember when i was in HC, we did talk about this. The thought of having the wars start on the 24th but cancel the following week was a good argument.

I still have no idea how the 24th was agreed on (I was thinking first weekend of April), I just rmember all of a sudden it was decided :/

However, the wars are this weekend. It's just the following week that it will be canceled.
