How can I setup my account so I receive emails when somebody replies to one of my subscriptions?

I have it set to instantly, email, but I haven't gotten any emails. How long does it take for the email to go through?

takes about 2-3 minutes. i have email notfications when i get messages and ect; usually takes a few min. i usually see the message, or thread before my email tells me

Never mind, the email went through now. It just took longer than "instantly"
