Top 5 Music Suggestions

We're in the final stages of judging this week's clips, and I wanted to ask you guys this;

What genre of music would you like to hear in this weeks top 5?

Last week we had a smooth Drum n Bass number by Calibre, I'm looking to switch it up each week.

Whoever suggests a track that I deem worthy will get a little shoutout in the final video :)

Hopefully this'll get a bit more involvement from you guys, and hopefully stretch my editing "skills" a bit! :)

I suggest using Royalty free music... that way you wont have to go through everything with youtube if/when they take the music away because of the copyright.

Idk unless you really claim the music is yours they don't really take it down. I have had a video up for 6 years featuring a Linkin Park song and they have yet to do anything with it

If it comes down to it, I'll just use music from artists on my label. I don't think we'll have any problems with more "underground" stuff. I know for sure that Calibre track I used last week will likely go unnoticed. Some of the bigger labels (Sony, EMI, etc) have crawlers on youtube that just search for anything that matches a predefined audio waveform, then report it.

Make sure to use copyright free music unless you really want to use a song there a way to uncopyright a song. You can still get in trouble if they find it but they can't track it. Or something. :P There's tutorials I've seen but some pretty popular editors. As for music, look up halo 3 trick jumping videos like "Origins" and the "look before you leap" series. They have some good music in them that not a ton of people have used as far as I've seen. :)

As long as you acknowledge the music is not yours they will not remove it. I've made numerous videos with music from big bands and they have done nothing to my videos.

As for a song this may be a little cliché, but I'd say almost anything from Metallica. But try to steer away from any if their more famous songs. They have plenty of lesser known songs with amazing guitar sections.
