We should start moving battle nights up a day to Saturday instead of cancelling them all together when a holiday falls on Sunday.

You are saying move up battle nights to Saturdays only if we would have canceled correct? Not every Battle Night, Right?

Dont you mean move the battle night back a day? Saturday is before Sunday...

Anyways, this isn't a bad idea, but don't be surprised for a terrible first turn out by it.

Correct

Correct. But better than no turnout and no battles.

Since we are cancelling battles for every little holiday, and at the rate we are going this war will never end, I demand that battles be cancelled for the entire duration of Robanukah.

Also I can't make Saturdays due to working. I already based my work schedule so I get home on time on Sundays. And why are we suddenly cancelling battles for holidays we never did before? I don't get it.

We did cancel for these holidays last year,

I like this idea.

But my first worry is that people won't show because they are so used to Sunday battle nights. Squads leaders gonna have to work a bit harder to get the word out.

I just hate cancelling for "mothers" day. and "fathers" day. I love em. I visit them often. (at my dads now) lol But, it is what the people want. LMAO

My only fear is that Maps may not be edited in time, because I know the weekends are when the Forge Department does a lot of their work.

I think that this would be a could thing to try out.

It is a bad idea because east costers get off of work around 9pm or 10pm est. On Sunday most people get off around 6pm est so even after work they can make it

I think this is worth trying out. There may be a lower turnout, but I would much rather play with fewer people than skip a week.

Can somebody put up a poll to see if the people who wouldn't be able to attend a battle night on a holiday would be able to attend if it was moved to Saturday? I think it would be interesting to see if those people who can't attend on the Sunday would also be unable to attend on the preceding Saturday.

Although isnt it the Same problem? We cancel the battles on Mother's Day because of a low turnout. If you guys are willing to accept a lower turn out on Saturday why not just have the battles on Sunday where even more people are more likely to show up.

It is actually MUCH easier for me to make battles on Saturdays than Sundays.

I am in favor of this idea.

That is why I recommend putting up the poll to see if the people who won't be able to make it on Sunday would be able to make it on Saturday. You are right, it doesn't make since changing the day when we would have the same outcome on both days.

Horrible idea. How often do people have get together/parties/events on Saturdays? You're going to loose a lot of the member base.

The difference being on Sunday holiday we have three squads each army, and Saturday we get a squad and a half for each army. Either way there would be a lower turnout. So just keep it on Sundays, odds are most people who say they couldn't make it would just show up late.

Well I'd rather have a Saturday if we must skip Sunday battles. But I'd rather just not cancel battles for oddball holidays in the first place.
