Over 800,000 guns in Destiny?

Personally I have a hard time believing there will be over 800,000 combinations of weapons and attachments. But it is clear from the concept art that weapon customization will be a huge part of Destiny. Probably to a similar level as Borderlands, which is certainly a good thing.

yeah, but everyone only used like 3-4 variants. also, "millions of guns" includes variants with one statpoint off. meeeeehhh
