it depends on what type of anime you like, I like fighting and tournament style anime. I loved Baki the grappler and Hajime No ippo. And Kenichi the mightiest desciple.

If you like fantasy then The Tower of Duraga: the aegis of Uruk, and Tears of Tiara. and a good horror one was Shiki.

If you are looking for something deep and well made, watch Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal. Probably my favorite.

Don't really watch much but Elfen Lied is my favorite. Recently watched Baccano! and it was good. Soul Eater was one of my favorites as well. Code Geass as well.

I'm probably gonna catch shit for this but oh well haha. I haven't seen it in quite a while but I really liked Clannad. It's got good deep messages behind it.

Ghost in the Shell (My all time favorite, hence the signature)
Witchblade (Extreme fan service, but entertaining nonetheless)
Claymore (Didn't expect much, but the story was so much more interesting than I expected)

I enjoyed Clannad and Afterstory a lot. After Samurai X, those are probably my second favorite.

Ghost in the shell was one of the first animes i ever watched when it was on adult swim all the time. I also have to admit i had a small obsession with Claymore for a bit.

Clannad made me cry and After Story made me cry harder. Yeah, I'll admit it. Don't like it? Fuck off.
