A few friends wanted to put together a tournament of sorts, since the Yugioh XBLA game is getting increasingly popular. We'll use this thread as a way for people to discuss decks, discuss what recipes should be banned and discuss whether or not 1v1 or 2v2 tournaments would be best.

I could figure out some sort of prize for this is there's enough interest. Perhaps each entrant donate 50/100 vcash to the pot, which would then go to the winner.

I want this to be built by the community so everyone knows that they are heard as far as why rules are created etc.

I voted Doubles, but would love to have some singles and doubles tournaments if there is enough interest.

Most importantly, when are most people available? Post in the format:

Tme of Availability: SAT JUN 1, SUN (after battles) also during the week.
Preference on Singles or Doubles: Either

Also if you have a problem with signing up for their website (It's very simple), you could simply give me your Gamertag and your 'team' Name and I can fill those in for you

Do it during the week. Not many people can stay on after battle due to how late it is and/or Officer meetings after the battles.

Also I voted for Singles. That way a person doesn't have to be carried by a skilled player when they have almost no skill.

I haven't taken a look at the game yet, but I fail to see how a Yugioh game could be fun.

It's a strategy game. A lot of strategy games don't look fun until you play them.
