Hot on the heels of the Halo: Spartan Assault announcement made by Major Nelson, Microsoft has confirmed rumors of Fable: The Lost Chapters receiving an HD update for Xbox 360.

Update: Screenshots from Fable Anniversary indicate that it will be a true HD-remake in 1080p - similar to Halo:CEA.

Is it actually 100% true to be a remake? Im still hearing its a new Fable (IV), but with Jack of Blades back.

Oh well, iv loved every Fable game... including Fable 3. Never played Journey because I dont have the room in my room to use a Kinect at the moment.

Dont get me wrong, I enjoyed it, and still play it..

However, I still feel that it could have been better. Fable remake was such a good idea. I cant wait until this comes out.

Iv followed Fable since the beginning. Mainly since my Aunt worked at MIcrosoft, I got free games all the time (got one of the first copies of Halo CE before it actually got released. However I think it was only a day early though).

Fable: The Lost Chapters was a great game and slowly the game has been taking steps back... always missed the beheading of people :(

I had saved enough money to save everyone but the game skipped from like 141 days left to 0 and everyone died. :(

I do wish that part of the game actually followed the full countdown and not just skip everywhere, but oh well. Iv beat the game almost in every way lol
