I remember when I was on Fort Bragg, NC back in 2011. I heard that Major Dick Winters died (For those of you who don't know him he was in a series called Band of Brothers, which is based on the actual experiences of this one airborne company). Every day we lose more and more of the greatest generation.

I'm going to spend s good chunck of my day watching documentaries. I had a great uncle who died on Utah, and my great grandpa survived gold.

Let's take a moment to remember all of the men and boys who died rushing the beach and those who died defending it.

If Halo 2 could still be played, I would invite you all to play my D-Day on Relic, best pick-up gametype I ever made. :(

Flying the flag high today.

An interesting and often overlooked part of the battle. Pointe du Hoc (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pointe_du_Hoc)

Yeah.. Winters was a major dick.

Band of Brothers, and Saving Private Ryan are some of my favorite shows and movies of all time though.

This reminds me.. You guys should think about playing World of Tanks, it's a free WW2 MMO.

Pointe du Hoc (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pointe_du_Hoc) Ive been to Normandy. Point du Hox was the most amazing thing ever. It shows how big those Ship shells were. Rangers lead the way.
