Okay, so I'm excited enough for this game that I went ahead and made a thread dedicated to it.

The fact that its FTP actually scares me a bit.. i generally hate that model and it has only worked on a few games to a point that i can still love the game...
but it looks amazing and like something that can be incredibly fun to play

They'll probably make their money via content packs like LittleBigPlanet.

I'll definitely play it.

Microsoft has a LBP-killer that's FTP. Also LBP3 hasn't even been announced yet. Big win for MS.

I'm watching it right now. Every episode I think about how much fun it would be to play a game based on SG-1. Not even based, if they were to rip every episode of the show into a video game, that would be fine.

tl;dr Yeah, I love Stargate.

As cheesy as it is sometimes, it's my #1 favorite sci-fi show of all time <3

Same here. I think it's because it's the perfect melding of science, fiction, history, military, and it's chock full of funny little comedic quips.
