Hey guys. I just wanted to share this with everyone.
It's the gun game gamemode from COD modded into Halo 4.

NOTE: This mod is not made by me. It's made by amd42.

If it makes you feel better, the game is originally from Counter Strike.

Also, the uniqueness of the weapons makes it quite fun IMO.

I know that. It started that way as a mod for CoD when it was on Counter Strike, and now its a playlist on CoD. Because this mod got created, there is now a high chance this will be made as an actual gametype down the road.

It seems like all FPS Multiplayer games are going with these Gun Game type matches.

I know BF3 has a version similar called "Gun Master" that's pretty fun. It'll be interesting to see how this plays with Halo's plethora of unique weapons.

If 343 creates an actual playlist of this mod, IŽll become mad. CoD-fans will be all like "Halo copied theater, spec ops, loadouts and now Gun Game. Gee, Halo is just a shitty CoD-clone"

Um. Halo created Theater; CoD copied it. And CoD ripped Gun Game from Counter-Strike. I'm sure they ripped off Spec Ops from something else.

If this is about originality then your argument is invalid. If it's about CoD fanboys complaining, then fuck them lol.

Except that Halo had theater-mode first (Halo 3) and improved upon everything Call of Duty did in the other respects...lol.

It's a lot of fun. What's more exciting is seeing how much modders can manipulate and customize the game. There's announcer voice overs that aren't in any other matchmaking variants used in Gun Game, hidden away and never used, but still present in the code. There's also custom kill feed text. I expect a lot of interesting variants coming in the near future.

Next time I hear someone say Halo copied CoD with the loadouts thing, I'm gonna tell them. Well at least my game isn't named after a fish.

You mean that awesome gamemode from CS:S that CoD ruined and the CoD fanboys think is a CoD original gametype? Nope. Gungame stopped being good once it went to CoD.
