Blue line on my screen

So it seems my laptop screen is going out and I'm getting a blue line on my screen. From my google there doesn't seem to be a fix besides replacing the laptop. Does anyone know a way to slow it down? Or is there anyway to slow down the damage to the screen? Or no matter what I do it will just continue to die. THanks

See if it's under warranty and get a screen replacement??

Not under warranty, and actually I haven't checked if I can get a screen replacement. If it's cheap I might do it, if not I'll just ride this one out until I can buy a new one.
