Tune in to the 19th installment of the FC podcast where we discuss Nintendo and gaming innovation.

This episode is dedicated to Hiroshi Yamauchi and his contributions to the gaming and home entertainment worlds. You will be missed.

Also, I apologize for the echo present in this show. Max and I tested the quality of our recording before we started the show, and it was fine. But somehow, it seeped into the final recording. Sorry guys; not much I could do about it though. Hopefully it isn't too distracting. After all, it isn't a bunch of Skype tones.

A special thanks and shout out to JEWmanji for being the only person so far to send in art we don't get the contest! If some er entries soon, he may insta-win the (equivalent of) 800 MSP up for grabs. The rest of you listeners need to step up your game ;)

Here is JEWmanji's submitted art for those of you curious:

And be sure to send in some listener mail in general! We are hitting an all-time low it seems in viewership and community response, and although Max and I love doing the show, we want to know you are enjoying it just as much.

In case you need a couple topics to brainstorm a listener mail, here are a few of the questions we posed in the show that you can respond to:

Is social media hindering or helping the gaming community? Does it more often then not get gaming companies in touch with the gaming population, allowing them to tailor experiences to their customer's desires, or does it hinder progress because of public outcry caused by a fear of pushing the envelope?
If you were in charge of coming up with the next big "innovation" in the gaming world, what would you focus your efforts on? VR sims? Motion-capture? Etc.
How would you feel about "mental gaming" (the concept of controlling a game, or only certain aspects of a game using nothing more than your mind through a neural interface)?

So with that guys, I hope you enjoyed this week's show. DFTBA (Don't forget to be awesome) and as always, stay classy.

DAMN YOU, ECHO!!! (Thankfully it only lasts for the first few minutes of the show.)

This is why we can't have nice things.

Also, this is what happens when you don't have headphones with you, children. :(

The podcast is great though. So listen to it and send us listener mail about it. We'll <3 you if you do.
