Universal Recruitment Idea

I don't know how well this could work, but it's an idea:

Create a large amount of events, hosted by many different FC members, with competitive settings, random customs, and everything in between. However, have it open to not just FC members. Advertise the series of custom game nights (or even matchmaking) on various Halo related websites. This would allow participants to meet new people, and we could possibly have them join the community. Thoughts?

i got 5 people interested but they never figured out how to sign up for the website. I helped them couple of times, but they said its too complicated

This is a good idea Coda, especially because it will give recruiters more time to make sure the recruits dont think of this as a clan etc, and that shit like custom games happen regularly for fun etc.

Its been done before in both Halo2 and Halo3. It was effective to a degree, and as was said most people were a little off about the community.

Its worth trying, would you care to set it up and carry that recognition for success?

Actually what we were discussing was different than what Coda is suggesting. He is recommending hosting regular events outside of Battle Nights in order to attract members. It's an alright idea, but has nothing to do with the Universal Recruitment Division you started back in Rec2.

Why don't we have open event nights that still use FC rules?

It could make the "Event Hoster" ribbon's requirements easier to distinguish. Think like mini battles where we can bring non-FC members? Hosted by volunteers?
