Halo 3 Peacetime War!

I am starting this sign up for a "mini" war during peacetime!

Talk to your squad and see if they're interested in competing!

Bring your squad, and lets have some fun during our break from the H4 war.

Please post below only if your squad will be attending. If the numbers are there, then we are a go!

These will be run about the same time as Battle Nights, about 6:30pm EST on Sunday's.

Tournament style Battle Night on that sexy map.

I spent so many hours trying to perfect that map (and its various iterations).

Ok.

Game types are as follows: Hill 30, Asset, FC Assault, Liberation, and of course Conflict.

All game types will be BR Start, with SMG Secondary.

15 minute time limit, unlimited Score.

The war map is still a work in progress, but for the sake of getting started, this is what I have so far

REDD Capital: Sandtrap 8v8 BLUE Capital: Avalanche 8v8

REDD Maps (on REDD's side): Cold Storage 4v4, Orbital 6v6, and Heritic 4v4

BLUE Maps (on BLUE's side): Blackout 4v4, Longshore 6v6, and The Pit 4v4

Maps in the Middle (maps between each sides territory): REDD: Last Resort 5v5, Rats Nest 6v6
BLUE: Standoff 6v6, Ghost Town 5v5

Since this is just for fun, there will be no auxiliaries like there is now. Hopefully this will be enough to last us during our peacetime.
Also, I will be deciding the attacking for each army.

Defenders always choose game types.

For tonight,

BLUE ATTACKS: Last Resort 5v5 4703

REDD ATTACKS: Ghost Town 5v5 4704

I never said to only have 4v4s. I only said that I would only play on the 4v4s. H3 servers are not as reliable right now and anything bigger than an 8 person lobby lags incredibly. capping it at 6v6s is probably a good idea. That is what we did in the H3 wars. Also, try to stay away from forge maps if you can. H3 had some great out of the box maps, no need to dive into forge and get laggy maps.

It did start pretty quickly, and turnout was poor.

We're going to postpone this week, and will OFFICIALLY start next SUNDAY, 12/21, at 6:30pm EST
