That's the point. You're suppose to feel weird so you eventually come back. ;)

Seeing as you were not even willing to wait until the BLUE FM elections to be complete.....

No. That only offers the usergroup a sense of entitlement and the feeling of being special... which the usergroup itself does enough of.

These men (and Donkey) speak the truth. Thus, I have quoted them.

We all have our reasons for leaving. So please do not pretend to understand why. Just because I am no longer a member of an army, does not mean I am no longer a member of this community, who most of you i've had the pleasure of dealing with personally.

It was just a suggestion, and was not asked to start any issues.

Well this has gotten weird....

First off, lets not bash someone who at least stepped up to fill silversleek's void when he abruptly stepped down as FM. Like his leaving of BLUE is any less justified than half of this thread's periods of inactivity.

Second of all, this won't happen. Providing incentive to be a retired, non-contributing member isnt productive. Staying in an army as an inactive private IS an option most people ignore. You don't HAVE to be active to just be a member of REDD or BLUE. Respected member is really for those who are really cutting themselves off from the wars, ie. kuhblam, dinner, whatever other completely inactive people you can think of. Further perpetuating that being in the green usergroup is some groupie, status icon is really detrimental and IMO just people's way of feeling like they matter after they step down from a high position. Be privates in armies people, even if youre going to be less active. Donkey knows where it's at with that concept.

But that doesn't mean Jamie is degrading the community. Show some respect folks, jebus...

I understand this won't happen, and the reasons are justified.
Thanks Anarchy and Donkey :D

Maybe I'll have to come back sooner than I expected.

Can I haz respect lolz

With all that being said, it is worth asking why even have a respected rank at all? Sure it separates the scourge of the universe such as myself from Jamie, however if someone isn't going to be playing for a while, why not recommend they take up a role as a moderator in the time they won't be participating in a war? It's actually a position to be proud of, it helps the site, and it makes one less group tag to apply to people.

And commence hate.... now:

Seems like this thread has been resolved. I will be closing this thread to prevent any further, off-topic, potential arguments.
