I'll be honest I already read the manga and know what will happen, HOWEVER that doesn't mean I can enjoy the anime and (imo) the anime tends to be slightly better but only because of the music. I mean seriously the opening is just awesome.

Manga > Anime

Manga > Anime

The manga tends to have more "content" that the anime wouldn't have, let alone show. However with the anime you get music that sets the tone for certain scenes and such. In a way that sort of balances it out for me.

Sadly I haven't completely finished the manga (tho I'm close) or the anime :/ But I love the series<3

anime>manga.

it's unfortunate that the anime costs so much more to make, so less content, and slower release. also the fact that dubs take even longer. fairy tail is the only anime i've actually switched over from dub to sub mid-series. usually i stick to just sub, or just dub.

Yes, there very much is. It's a progressive story that slowly releases the plot. It's not random events.... Lol

The one thing I love about fairy tale, as far as I can tell......no fillers

well, every now and then there's some fillers. but no filler seasons unlike some other bigger shows. *cough* every other season of bleach near the end *cough*

or needlessly long arcs like some others.. .*cough* dbz, the story could be told in like 50 episodes at most *cough*

damn that's a mouthful for a cough.
