For $399, you can soon own a brand new xbox one without the kinect!

Free Games with Gold is also featuring 2 free games next month. One of those will actually be Halo: Spartan Assault.

Deals with Gold is also being introduced, essentially giving the xbox live marketplace deals similar to steam for XBL gold members.



In other news, Sony has shit itself, RaZ can finally stop complaining about the kinect, and the world has been set right.

Also, they changed it to Sony's style where on the XB1, you lose your free Gold games if you don't have Gold anymore. So basically they're just copying Sony in every way. >.> Le sigh.

That's why I said XB1 :P Yeah its only with the Xbox One apparently, the 360 will not be affected by the free Game changes. If you don't have Gold on the 360, you will still have your games you downloaded from the free offers.

Just got back from work. Holy shit news. I'm intrigued by the fact that they announced this BEFORE E3. This means that MS stole a shit ton of announcements from E3 to make room for hopefully more awesome shit in their press conference. Color me intrigued.

I hope game developers create their content that uses the Kinect in their masterpieces for the future...I just dont feel like having it now when theres no real reason to have it.

I hope my opinion changes in the fall. I'm definitely buying an Xbone in June.

I still think Microsoft is behind Sony. The Xbox One is the same price as the PS4 and is significantly less powerful. They should have undercut Sony on the price if they want to beat them in sales.

And considering the CPU and such that's dedicated to running the Kinect can now be switched to the games, the current difference could very well disappear completely.

Xbox One has had a better CPU. The difference is in the GPU. That's why Xbox One games run at a lower resolution than the PS4 versions. I'd still get an Xbox One once the game library is there, but I wish Microsoft would just buff the GPU so I can have 1080p/60fps for all games.

Get a high-end PC and you can play games in 1440p/60fps. >.>

About time Microsoft cleans up their act. Copying Playstation plus is a good first step into getting back into the console war, and we'll as ditching connect is also great. I'll be getting an x1 after e3

I heard my name, so I had to reply. FYI I do already own an Xbox One, It's just collecting dust. How did Sony shit the bed? Anyway, I'm happy Xbox is listening to the masses. If their exclusivea get better, I'll see you on. Im all Playstation this Gen. I'll see you guys on the next halo, if it's not a disappointment. ;)

Because it's legitimately cool and integral to the experience in terms of navigation and abilities.

I often catch myself saying "Xbox, Record That" when I'm playing my Xbox 360 and it makes me a sad panda when it doesn't work. Lol.

While that is cool and all but I really don't see much of a need for it. Gaming is a joke for the kinetic and just being able to do simple voice commands is not worth 100 bucks to me.
