Idk what to say about this game it is just so addicting.
It's a randomly generated massive map and you try to just survive and build your castle or explore massive caverns. x_x
The game is still in it's Alpha, but it has so much potential.

More addictive then WoW?

Have you met a REAL WoW player?

Look at me. Now look at my gamer bio. Now back to me.

I play both of them and I find WoW more addictive.

Also, underground 40 x 80 x 50 castle made of glowstone or gtfo.

Well if not beats it then it definitely can have the possibility of equaling it. Have two freinds who have NOT left their damn houses for three days playing motherfucking minecraft.

Ah, and I may have just started, but I have one thing in mind: House made of obsidian. Game over.

I would host a server for people to jump on, however the campus network here does not allow an incoming server connection outside our LAN. So unless your at my campus, you wouldn't be able to connect to it.

Do you have to pay? I'm about to get it looking for some people to play with.

Its about $16 to buy it right now in it's Beta stage. If you bought back in the Alpha it was like $10. Buying it now gives you access to the game so long it exists. This includes the final version of the game, should it ever come out.

Well its pretty cool. The beginning is the hardest, considering you have nothing to work with and you have to get a functioning base up before sundown (about seven minutes in the game). Once you get yourself established is when the real fun starts, mining caves, fighting enemies, and the multiplayer is an absolute free-for-all. Some servers (like host parties in halo, servers in minecraft act as party leaders. Same party rules apply, whoever is with the server you joined is who you can play with.) host random people so you can say its matchmaking....

Anyways in those servers its an absolute chaos-fest. You better know how to hide your bases well, as other players can loot whatever's in it if they can find it. Oh yes, and they can also kill you if you can find them (its possible to fight other players)

I find it awesomely fun (is that even a real word?)

Plugins can block all that stuff in MP.

Darn lol cause I had an idea for a cool Halo themed world/private server if anyone was interested. I am not good at server stuff though so I wouldn't know how to do it.

That is a good reason not to play it lol It is a fun game though if you like to destroy and build things.

I absolutely LOVE minecraft. I used to play it a lot more, but they started pumping out updates and more complicated mods than need mods for mods to instal mods, so I haven't been playing it much recently. I have a small private server for when my friends want to play, and a little coop makes the vanilla game way more fun. So I do that every now and again.

still working on an obsidian castle... the moat alone is taking forever! (lava done to bedrock, the inner wall is obsidian, outer is cobblestone. ~70 X 3, and ~120 X 3 along the sides)

I love Minecraft i play usually everyday and it never gets old. The satisfaction of building a giant scale wolf (yes i did) is just amazing, also i liked showing it off to people. Of course the server was shut down =[
