Between September 7-13, with every purchase of a new Xbox One system from a participating US retailer, you’ll be able to select any Xbox One game of your choice for free.

The promotion, confirmed by Xbox today, applies to all disc-based games up to a retail value of $60, including Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition, Titanfall, Watch Dogs, and even upcoming shooter Destiny.

The offer is also inclusive of Xbox One bundles, which means you can still pick up a free game if you’re hankering after the Madden NFL 15 or Forza Motorsport 5 packs, too.

If this deal can be used in the form of preordering, then you could preorder a special Xbox, such as the Sunset Overdrive white console, and choose MCC as the game. The value of the two games would be $120, putting the net price of the console at $280. Add in the price of a Kinect bought separately, and you'll have the value at $380, which is the price a Gamestop employee would get a used normal X1+Kinect for.

Can't be any bundle besides the standard two models, Madden bundle, and Forza bundle. Also, can't choose games not out.

That being said, I'd recommend anyone using this offer get either the Madden or Forza bundle. Even if you don't want the game, you can sell it.

I didn't even click the links. No fucks to give. Even with a regular, current console and current games, the net bundle would still come out to 380, still the used price for an X1+K with employee discount - thus the deal is really good.
