Supremacy 1914 Event!

Some people asked for this, since we did it in the past, so here it is.

Supremacy is a really slow paced free online strategy game which you can sign up for here:

It's easy to play and fairly fun. We had one of these in the past and it went well.



To join the game I made, make an account, and then click "The Games" on the left, then click the tab "Private Games" and search for the game "Forerunner Conflict".

The password is "mythonian".


In order to actually get a private game, I had to make the game a paid goldmark round, which means you have to pay 5,000 goldmark to get in, which is a micro-transaction currency. BUT all new accounts come with 5,000 goldmark standard, so it will still be free for everyone.


Feel free to join up. There's a 2 day peacetime. Any questions or need any help, ask me, it's fun and up to 31 people can get involved.

I'll also foot a prize of an XBL$ card depending on how many people join.

If you have a supremacy account already but dont have the goldmark, contact me and I have some amount on my account to foot the bill for you.

In the game we're in, you have to have 75% of the total available points on the map (default is 50%). Points are essentially provinces, so if you think about it, it's basically 75% map control and you win.

Jai fucking capped everybody and got like a thousand points or something. Map control super helps, but you can also win by having a really strong military or economy, I thiink. That's how I was on the leader boards in that last game. All I really did was *coughs* take Greece. Other than that I just kept my infrastructure strong and my morale high.

EDIT: Wait, that was a lie. I took way more than Greece. Never mind.

You're fine, it wasn't a rule until SOMEBODY (http://fcwars.net/forums/member.php?894-Synaster-Wolf)spent $3 in goldmark to insta-build a harbor.

Yes. It's more like risk, less like an active RTS starcraft type game. It's not hard, really no way to be "good" at it.

Um, yeah? You can get all kinds of units. Army men, cars, artillery, battleships, other stuff. I'm not fully sure cause my military never progressed that far, but you can upgrade buildings and get new units. It's like Halo Wars except it's WWI era and takes a month to play.

You can make alliances with whoever you want, it's open ended.

WWI maps are in the game, just not this specific round. Pre-set alliances are as well, as I said. We may do those in the future, but for this round you are free to create alliances as you see fit.

I'm not sure why you had to make it a gold round to be private. From what I can gather, the only setting that you have making it a gold round is the 75% point win condition. I was able to make a private session without turning it into a gold round...

"Private Session" doesn't necessarily mean private, it just means people looking for a "quick join" wont get in it, but anyone is able to join one.


The Goldmark round requirement comes into play when we add a password to make it truly private. In order to have a password, it needs to be either a goldmark round, have 20+ accounts invited to the game, or be labeled as "Start when full", which would prevent play until all 31 slots are full.

As for why I didn't change any other goldmark abilities, most of you are new, so Elite A.I. would be cruel. And the extra units tend to get really redonculous.

In other news, if you guys want to keep playing together, but don't want to fork out goldmark every game to keep it private, we could start a clan and play internal games. The only downside is that we probably won't earn xp for those games... (we might, but probably not)

I went and made an FC alliance for everyone, just for fun. (And for internal games) (And because I was bored...)

I should have invited a majority of the players in the current game, but if I missed you, or you want to join up, it's just called 'Forerunner Conflict' and you should be able to apply.

(I checked. Internal games are only allowed to be played by alliance members, without having to pay any goldmark to get in. You can even get experience in them! There's seriously no reason to not join!)
