View Full Version : Month Long Website Maintenace

Howdy fine ladies and gents of FC,

Just dropping by real quick to inform you about the maintenance I will be conducting over the next month. As some of you may know, the forum has a double posting glitch that has been plaguing us for months. I think I know there the source of it now is. However, it requires a lot of fixes and trial time. For the remainder of the month, the following is going to happen.

On each Monday from 4 - 6PM EST, I will be conducting direct maintenance on the website. The website may go offline during this time period. After my fix has been applied, I will come back to this topic and inform you of the changes. After that I will observe the forums for the following week to see what my fix has done. If the issues are not resolved, I will apply another fix come the following Monday.

After issues have been resolved, I will be implementing a couple new modifications to the website and removing a couple as well.

I will provide more details as I approach each step over the month.

Oh man the title of the thread scared me! I thought the website would be down for an entire month for maintenance.

Only time that will EVER happen is if I ragequit the community, nuke the forums, and leave you folks to your own devices.

Way to surreptitiously remind us of how important you are to us. Like an after thought, like an "Oh, by the way..." or "In case you were unaware..."
