Hello everyone! I'm barinelg and am fairly new to Halo multiplayer as I didn't have Halo 2 when it was out and popular, and my friend had Halo 3. I'm hoping to get better at the game and wanted to do so with a good, solid group, which it appears I found. :) I like the premise behind the community, and still am reading through everything, so I'm not sure when I can jump in. Looking forward to playing some games with you guys!

this is us getting along... how do you know about purple army, who told you?

I figured it was you guys getting along; the South Park "I'm not your friend, buddy!" is enough to show that. :P It was an unoriginal attempt to make a joke as red and blue make purple. If there is a purple team, then that shows my knowledge of what groups are in this. XD

Somewhat relatedly, as I was told I could jump in whatever, is it best to enlist under neutral until I decide which side to be on?

Well you're technically neutral right now so you can just hang out like that till you decide if you want or you can give one army a try for the beta war and if you don't like it you can switch... usually unless you join BLUE and they brainwash you then your screwed
