Oh yeah... It's happening. What better way to spread the holiday cheer?
For those of you who don't know what a "Secret Santa" is, no it's not that guy dressed as Santa who comes to your house every christmas to wrestle with your mother.
"Secret Santa" is where you are given one person's information, and are then tasked with giving them a Christmas present. Likewise, another person is tasked with doing the same to you. So it's one big circle of giving. The "Secret" part is where everyone keeps secret who they're a Santa for, so you don't know who your secret Santa is until you are given your gift.
Interested yet? Good. Lets outline some rules and information:
Gift will be "given" on Christmas Eve, December 24th
You may signup anytime from now until Friday, December 12th, where I will assign matchups.
Once given a person, I will send you the information they provided, and it will be up to you to come up with a prize and keep your secret.
We will have an "aim" price of $10 per gift. That's not a requirement, if there's something that's $8.50 you want to gift, no one cares about the dollar-fiddy'. If you want to spend more than $10, feel free, but do so knowing you probably wont get the same value in return.
If you wish to ask a question to your assigned person, tell me, and I will relay the question to retain anonymity.
I will not be participating, HOWEVER I will be filling in for those who fail to provide a gift, so rest easy knowing you will get something for your generosity to others.
Don't be a dick. If you cannot provide a gift due to financial issues, or unforseen difficulties, tell me and we will work something out. More than likely, the gift you are given will just transfer through to the person you were supposed to gift.
You must have been an FC member for at least 1 month before signing up to protect douchbaggery.
Any questions, feel free to ask. Hopefully this can bring us all together, as I urge you all to contribute.
Come up with some interesting things and lets push FC through to the new year!
