Can we add the Ricochet gametype back to the maps for halo 4?

We used to have a forge department, then it was a piece of cake. If we get enough people, we could rally up the maps we have to get them all done, so we don't have to do them again.

I personally LOVE the Ricochet game mode, but if we don't have the manpower to edit the maps (and edit/test them properly) I'd rather not force it upon the community.

I feel like the FC suggestion box is a place where any member can bring their ideas to the table to have our members look over them and discuss them in a respectful manner. I am very disappointed that the simple responsibility to let everyone be heard without fear of being harassed or have passive aggressive comments throw at them cannot be upheld. With comments that do not have anything to do with the topic at hand - from people who have no intention of honestly discussing the topic.

Now with that being said, I don't see an issue with adding Ricochet back into FC. If we have the members that are willing to do something about it and that can prove they are willing to do it. I think there is enough interest to push it forward. It's an old cliche but I urge everyone to be the change that they want to see in this community. Whether it's for a new gametype to be added, for better maps, or for better spawns on those maps, because that's the only way that it will get better.

From what I see we are in the middle of a war at the moment. Everything has been set for this and we shouldn't change any of it to add one game type. As for the next war I don't see why not. But as of right now I say we focus on what's in front of us for now.

The problem isn't the forging itself. Take into account the fact that the only maps we can really go and edit in forge are those custom made maps within H2A, h3 and h4; the other halos (h1,h2c) don't allow us the use of forge. The issue we are having now is the fact that we don't have an active group of testers to identify issues with gametypes and/or those maps we do have control over via forge.

WC is currently talking about revitalizing the forge dept. and Myth and I are looking for people within BLUE to form a potential community driven test group. With equal parts BLUE and REDD so as to keep fair representation from both sides. Although another person to help out in forging would most definitely be welcomed and much appreciated.

Ricochet would only be useful in H4 maps, though, AFAIK. I don't know specifically if it's an option in H2A Forge.
