So my brother and I have been looking at ARK the way a hungry orca looks at a penguin (that's to say, WE NEED IT!) and we've been wondering, does anyone know if we can play LAN or some kind of private server? Because who wants to spawn and get shot by everyone else in the server? Not us.

Ummmmmm... And... FC server?

Okay, first question was answered. How about FC server?

Never heard of it.

Edit: Googled it. Sounds pretty cool.


It is scheduled to release in June 2016 for Linux, Microsoft Windows, OS X, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

Might get it for Xbox when it comes out. (My pc is horrible right now :()

My laptop isn't top of the line either, but that aint stopping me. =P

Decided to read the text to the side on steam, confirmed that first question further.

Use skill and cunning to kill or tame & ride the Dinosaurs & primeval creatures roaming the land, & team up with hundreds of players or play locally!

Moral of this story is that reading is good for you.
