After War Council reached an agreement to end the current war. Proclaiming that there will be no battles until Halo 5. Green Army saw an opportune moment to strike, and take FC for themselves. But to do so successfully without meeting any future opposition, they must first initiate a War Council purge akin to that of Operation Firestorm, so that the failures of Halo MCC were not to repeat themselves, forever.
