Minecraft Help!

Ok so I got a new PC and I went to play Minecraft on it. And when I sign in an launch the game it asks me if I want to update the game. I clicked yes and it says downloading packages and doesn't load. http://gyazo.com/e5fdbe66564b7e65d7197cda0 d26985f.png It will stay like that and the bar won't move. If I click not to update I get something like this. http://i.min.us/imIiF2.png and it won't move from there.

This happens if I download it or play it in a browser. I've tried everything, I tried deleting it and re downloading it. I deleted the bin file, I've tried playing it with my firewall turned off. Minecraft classic work perfectly but not the beta.

Can someone please help me. All I want to do is play some minecraft.

Honestly Ba11z I have no clue, I was going to suggest just re-downloading it, but you already tried that.

Do you have any mods for Mine Craft on your computer? If so delete them and then re-download it.

No i don't have any mods. I haven't been able to play it yet on this computer.

Sorry for the double post but I got it to work. I had to update some drive on my computer.
