Anyone ever use this? I'm thinking about maybe getting it, it's basically a capture card. Just wondering if anyone has any personal experience that could tell me if it's worth the money.

But does it capture in HD? The videos they uploaded definitely are not in HD...

Yes it is HD Maxdoggy. If you read the specs thats what it says, my recent videos are HD and thats what I used. It only has the HDTV cables to plug in any way, they just didnt upload in HD.

Posted this on another website awhile back:

I've had my Dazzle CC for five years now and it still works fine. I had issues with it early on, but that was because of the PC I was using. It runs smooth now.

The capture card in the article is a good deal. Being able to use component cables is a plus since everyone should have those lying around as they come with the 360 (although not with the slim). It's a better alternative than buying the s-video cable, but the quality of video isn't that different between my dazzle and that roxio.

As you can see my videos:

With S-video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOvHxFQLmV8).

Without S-video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6BhqzuGHUw).

Being able to play in HD while recording is a great as well. I don't like recording live footage, I mostly record from the theater mode if a game has that.

The features are nice as well and being to save in multiple video files is good.

For the price, it seems worth it. The editing software is most likely made for gaming which means that the effects will be much better. Pinnacle Studio that comes with Dazzle has editing effects mainly for home video and not gaming so it stands out.
