So whats up you guys, any NHRA fans out there???
Well, i just got back from the O'Riley Northwest Nationals (here in Seattle) and i have a horrible sunburn but a day to remember...
First of all, this was my first experience in watching these guys live and i will not lie, i litterally jumped out of my seat when the Stands started to shake and a loud bang following it...
a 6-hour day, turned into a day that will represent a new era in my life... im now officially a "Nitro Junkie" (http://www.nitromall.com/templates/custom/splash/extreme-MT0260-back.php)
Sadly not all of the day was perfect... at one point a gentalmen sitting next to me Blacked out, hit the fence infront of him, and slammed his head on the concreat ground (i even say/heard the impact)... immediatly i lifted that mans head and tried to wake him up... i was worried because his eyes were rolled all the way back and he wasnt showing any sign of a responce... i was now thinking he could be dead (he hit his head really hard on the ground)... Then suddenly he blinked (that also scared me lol) and he started to talk... i whent through the procedure of asking him questions, such as "Sir, what is your name?", "How old are you", "Where are you?" (iv had a little medical training... iv had these questions asked to me before when i had a seziore)... he responded and i asked his (i believe) wife if he was correct... he answerd some wrong so i asked again and eventually he got it right. I walked him over to a flight of stairs and gave him my water... he then started to ask me "What happened"... so i explained exactly what happened and the the paramedics came and took him to ambulance. I later found out he had a "heat stroke", causing him to faint... he was released and allowed back to his seat as long as he had water with him... i never saw him since...
Overal, today was awesome... not only did i get to see it live, but i also had great seats next to the starting line...
