Mic Help!?

Hey guys, I need some help with my mic for my computer. I'm using my dr. dres right now and when I talk into it, the volume is very quiet. I thought it was the headphones at first but when I used a couple more, it did the same thing. Can anyone help me make it louder?

You mind telling me what a "dr. dres" is. As for helping pump up the volume, can you tell me what OS you are running? It will make my life easier.
