I was wonderin who is going to get what cause the PC version will have the 64 multiplayer which would be awesome for how big the maps are and the more intense gameplay, but the xbox will be more common for people but have 24 multiplayer... which would really dampen the experience quite a bit... i am still debating myself.... 12 v 12 or 32 v 32?

PC. If you have the PC that is good enough because isn't the Recommended stats rediculous?

You need a GOOD PC in order to run this good. I know mine can because I got top of line stuff, but I'm choosing friends over graphics because I know most of my friends will be playing on the xbox

Got more friends on the 360 so I won't be getting it for PC.

Probably won't even get it day 1 since I will be busy with GoW3.

Don't have a good enough PC, to run this game well on my PC, although I wish I did. A lot of my friends will be getting it on XBOX, so I know I will..

Not to mention it is cheaper then upgrading to ridiculous specs, your average person cant afford it. Unless your born rich, or get someone to buy it for u, or commit the crime of theft.

Taken from there blog (http://bf3blog.com/battlefield-3-system-requirements/).

It doesn't seem like you'll need a super computer to play it. But to get the most of the game you'll need a good one. Thank god I'm updating my graphics card before this comes out!

The thing is there is more to a video card than video memory.

i doubt the 6850 and gtx460 will run it very smooth at the highest settings and you could build a $700-800 computer that would run it well i am guessing.

you would be at a disadvantage with a controller for sure..... mouse/keyboard wins all day without aim assist.

but there is almost no... if any aim assist already on the consoles... so munkie has that advantage of being good on the console with no aim assist as it is.... and some PC games have been adding aim assist for controllers

I have it already paid off for Xbox. I have the proper computer to run it on PC, but the social integration and mass amounts of friends on XBL detracted me from getting it on PC.

I don't get why you people have to run a game on max settings. I never do unless I can and it doesn't bother me if I can't. But I'm pretty sure a 6850 would be able to run the game on the higher settings.

Blackhawk570

Because that is the only point of playing it on the PC for better graphics. There is a better community on the xbox so that is why I play it on the console rather than the PC. I am excited for the new Counter Strike though and will be getting that for PC because that is the only way to play that game

it will run it but i can see it dropping the FR under 20 if there's a huge explosion or something really graphic intensive.

the reason i wanna play it on high is because i wanna orgasm every time i turn on the game, most games i don't care about the quality but this game, kinda like crysis, is really beautiful and needs to be played with the all eye candies you can get.

i don't see the xbox running bf3 very well. look at reach and the FR issues it gets when the graphics kinda suck compared to bf3. the xbox360 has been out for 6 years in november, the graphics card in the xbox360 is 6 years old too. in technology and computer years that's like 100 years lol.

planning on working a ton next summer and building my first custom computer. its going to be a beast.

I'm considering getting it for both as I play xbox a lot more but I think it would play better on pc because the maps are bigger and more
people in a game on pc.

HAHAH NO WAY.

You buy BF3 on the PC for the 64 players, 60fps, and better graphics. Consoles are old as shit and full of shit talking 12 year olds. Go on PC and you will find a much older and more mature community, You ain't gonna find any bitchy lil CoD fags in a round of PC beta.

Well based off the Beta so far I am not liking the method in which you join a game and I am not liking how it is a add on to your browser. It is a large pain in the ass to join with friends as a squad.
