This has been THE WORST summer for hockey...if not year ever. First the NHL loses 3 enforcers to suicide, and just today, a plane carrying the full hockey team of KHL Lokomotiv crashed, killing everyone except two...there were some former NHL Players on there two, such as Pavol Demitra (who was a prolific scorer for Vancouver), Karlis Skratins, and Ruslan Salei...so sad to hear of all these great hockey players dying so soon...

I'm still in shock about this...just last week I was watching Red Wings vs. Sharks and saw Ruslan Salei and Brad McCrimmon in the game...and now their dead =(...there is only one survivor, who is most likely not even going to make it.

I was just as shocked when I heard about this. Such another great loss of life and talent.

Apparently they hit a light pole and crashed off of the runway?
