iPad not working

So heres the story, i had my ipad in my bag (as usual) and i took it out just before class to write a few notes. Everything was fine. Then when i got home, my when i turned it on grey bars appeared. I cant see the screen at all. BUT i still get interaction. Like when i press the lock button the lock sound goes off, when i swipe near the bottom the device unlocks and i can open apps (THIS IS ALL THROUGH SOUND THATI CAN TELL)

What the hell happened? Its NEVER been mishandled or dropped.

chances are they will give you advice even if your warrenty is up... otherwise do exactly what mede said

I just bought it like 2 months ago.. I should have warranty.

They gave my friend a new Macbook because her's was broken (and it was her fault)

To be fair their products are [somewhat] overpriced, so I would expect good customer service.

Yeah I'll agree with you on that. Even though I'm an Apple Fanboy, their products are way overpriced except for maybe the iPad. But the only problem I've ever had with my MBP is one Kernel Panic, it scared the shit out of me at first, and old age (meaning the fans were starting to die).
