The Fall Squad Tournament is now open for Registration!

Registration is open untill 6:00 am est December 1st.
The Tournament begins at 6:00 pm est December 4th.

There will be a vCash pool of 5,000 in the Tourney. All players entering the Tournament may throw into the pool to increase the amount. Simply post the amount you wish to throw in.
This tournament is for Squads only! If you are not in a squad then ask your Officer to asign you to one. You may Also make one for the occasion, but only if do not belong to one. Existing members of a squad may not join another squad for this tournament.

Matches:
1. All matches must be played in their entirety unless both teams agree to postpone or cancel the match. Teams can play a best of 3 (first team to win 2 maps wins the match) or a best of 5 (first team to win 3 maps wins the match). If no selection is made, a Standard Match will be played best of 3 maps.
2. After a map and gametype is used, it cannot be used in the next.
3. Players may not Delay a match more than 10 minutes. Any longer and the match is forfeit.
4. If a player/host disconnects during the initial launch of a map, the map will be restarted. The initial launch is defined as within the first 30 seconds or before the first kill.
5. If a player disconnects after the game has started, the game will continue and a player may be re-invited. The re-invited player may be the player that dropped or another squad member.
6. If a team loses players during a map, they can find other squad members prior to beginning the next map.
7. All players may use either Spartan or Elite Models. Elites will have load-outs.
8. All matches will be played with Official FC Maps and Gametypes. Note: Maps that are too big will obviousley not be used.
9. Teabagging or trash talking will result in forfeit of your match.
10. The first map and gametype of the match will chosen and agreed upon by the squad leaders of the match.
11. Resulst of your matches can be made here or messaged to me on xbox.

These Rules are not open for arguement or discussion for that matter and Will stay as is. However, They are subject to change as I see fit.

Just so you're aware: if you want Elite load-outs, you'll need to go through and modify the FC gametypes... They currently have no Elite load-outs.

Can 21st take 2 slots? Doesnt that give them a greater chance of winning? (Even though theyre already really good).
Shouldnt they just switch off guys from match to match?

If they have enough members, they may divide they're squad. This will not increase the Overall squads chance of winning. Victory Bars and vcash will only be rewarded to the individuals who win the tourney.

Yes there is around 16 members in it currently, we are working on turning it into two separate squads at the moment. Since the games are 5v5 there may even be a chance of three teams but I am keeping it safe and saying 2.

I will contact the 105th ODST's and The 251st ODST's to see if they would be interested in partaking in this event. Both of these squads are clan affiliates though so this may conflict with their current schedule, I will get back to you there response as soon as possible.

Hah! I was actually just thinking about the ODST's today and was wondering why they haven't entered. Yeah, please contact them.

As for the rest of you, Why dont you all just form a temporary squad? Talk to eachother. So far Gargoyle, Carpe, Heavyarms, and Donkey have mentioned an interest but dont have official squads. And I have a couple Privates that can lend a hand. Donkey If you cant get that squad together in time then just grab what you can and go in with a temporary squad.

Probably a no-can-do on that. I have around nine members solid now, however I am busy this weekend and can't get them all through a bootcamp in time (I'm guessing their availabilities differ.). If another Officer can run them through, that'd be great, however I would still wish to be present. Either way, not the right place for that conversation. If a Squad needs a sub, I'm available for it.

The bracket will be set up within 24 hours. If theres still a squad out there, please enter soon. Donkey and Unlucky, I need an update on that squad you were working on. And if anyone knows any ODST's Please send word to them abou the tournament, if it hasnt been done already.

I was planning on taking one of them thru a bootcamp today, & I believe donkey was going to do most of the rest tomorro. If he gets enough through then he & Garg could lead them until we find a suitable leader.

7 teams can work. It's all how you set the bracket up.

Bracket has been put on my 1st post of the topic. This is a double elimination Tournament, folks. Lose two matches and its game over for your squad.

THE FALL SQUAD TOURNAMENT HAS BEEN CANCELED TONIGHT!

The Tournament will be re-scheduled to December 4th. Registration will remain open untill December 1st.
This change should make enough time for every member to prepare for the competition.

I'll most likely have a Squad by then. College is really heating up right now, but a month should be satisfactory.

This is another reason Me and several other members pushed the date. People need more time for preparation. I want to see as many squads as possible on that bracket. A week to get ready was asking for too much.

I have sent a registration confirmation to all registered squads. This will be done from now on for any squad that registers and wishes to participate. I want to make sure that in fact your squad will indeed be there when the time comes for the competition.

Winter starts on the 22 of December, Silver. The Winter Tournament won't start untill the end of the next war, most likely.

As part of the full month Delay for the tournament I will be taking in suggestions. I am open to anything. Keep in mind not everying you throw at me will go through. if we can all agree on something, i will consider it. I want to make this competition as fun as possible but still keep competitive elements intact.
