Change battle times to make it easier for people who live in europe to play?

Been an issue before, wont be changing anytime soon. FC is primarily a North American community. We had good 'ol RvBR UK before, but we're not getting into that mess...

Muffin Man, problem is it has to appeal to the majority, and for the majority it works out perfect the way it is now. =/ Sorry.

Problem is if we adjust times for Europe our games would have to be earlier and I believe (not sure) that the UK itself is a couple time zones ahead of us. For example it's 1:11 where I live, but I'm pretty sure (not positive and I don't feel like bringing up a map) that it is about 7:11 where the UK lies.

So, we would have to have our battles at around 2 O'clock in order to fit 'some' European countries into the mix. The problem here is that some people might still be working at two (I know my parents do), some people might be looking for lunch or be out looking for groceries and etc. Our early hours are for getting crap done, and at the end of the day we sit down and relax (some of us with a beer in our hands) and play some Halo.

We just wouldn't be able to fit the UK in the schedule . . . unless there were enough players from the UK to have a war, in which case we could create a European faction to help fight during their own hours.

Dude its just something you got to get used to, i think the battles uselly start around 11pm and go on for a couple hours but unless you have school or college it aint much of a problem really lol, I've dealt with it for about 3 years now :)

We are 4 hours ahead of the US but if you changed the battle times to six oclock or even better 5 oclock then i we could come on easily. Its just because the time in europe for it now is 11 oclock. If you changed it to 5 oclock in the US then it would be 9 oclock in the UK making it managable for everyone

If we change it to 5 EST. Then its 3 on the West Coast and 4 Central time. Lots of people dont get out of class or off work till 3-6 depending on the school/job. It wouldnt make it any better for us.

Battles are at 6 PM EST for as far as I know.

For most of the last war, we used 6:00 PM EST.

That means:

West Coast: 3:00 PM
Mountain: 4:00 PM
Central: 5:00 PM
UK: 10:00 PM

We are considering keeping it at 6:00 PM EST. An announcement will be made about final decisions relatively soon.

He just said it was 4 though. Not sure if Scotland is different than England, don't believe so.

You are correct, it is 5 hours for UK. I got confused for a bit and didn't think about it.

The point is though, going any earlier than 6:00 PM EST would make it hard for the west coast members, since it's getting earlier into the day.

Time zones suck... :/

Why not change the battle date to saturday that means that most people could play as the majority of people dont have school or work on sundays. That way people could stay up as late as they want. Just a suggestion not trying to be aggresive or argumentative btw

Nah, Eastern Time is -5, I live in it =P

I would suggest bringing back our dual battle nights, where we fought on two days a week, but I doubt people would go for it, not to mention with our new system it would make everything harder.

Eagle, stop disrespecting.
