Roleplaying in FC... again

So roleplaying has been an idea already introduced to the site and apparently been discussed and done before. I was just wondering if anyone can tell me how it worked and why shouldnt we do another one. This sounds like a great idea due to the fiction behind the site.

I am currently getting ready to make a chapter or two for the FC universe and I am having KuhBlam help make sure it is accurate so this may give me some ideas but for the most part I have always been kind of anti roleplaying but of course I have only seen the really hardcore roleplaying and it was a facepalm.

In summary, if it is good then why not give it a go, but making it a large thing isn't a good idea in my book.

Ninja is the Admiral of R.E.D.D.'s fleet stationed over Reach, and is an officer for the sake of seeing a sub-forum in our RP forum that only officers of R.E.D.D. can see.

Exactly what GhostHammer pointed out, keep it clean. The problem with past (or at least as long as I've been here) roleplaying is that it had gone "too far" and people take it "too seriously". So the threads get locked, now whether I share those opinions or not isn't important but that is the problem I've seen with people roleplaying.
