Start a fight club.

If that doesn't work, find something that bores you completely.

Try listening to classical music or something.

Also, having a glass of wine can help you fall asleep as well. I know it works for me sometimes.

I'm actually writing a book called "thoughts of an Insomniac" :p

I see insomnia as a gift, rather then a hinder.

Go to school, listening to my professors lecture always knocks me out.

In many ways I can agree to this, I noticed my usual perspectives change with lack of sleep and not necessarily for the worse, just a different way of thinking. It can be nice if you need to stay up for an assignment, but when you only get 1.5 hours sleep and you have to attend a 8 hour long day of intense studying and note taking in class it can be a bit more of a drain than I care for.

In regards to the wine, may need to wait a while on that one, all I can do right now is take a pain killer, eat something to make my digestion system help make me drowsy, and lay down, hoping. >.<

Melatonin is a natural remedy to insomnia and if I don't wanna stay up I take it. Sometimes it knocks me on my ass and sometimes it doesn't :p

It's your body's sleep hormone, and when you take it, the dose you take (one pill) is enough to get the rest of your body producing it. And any local drug store, I got mine from Giant Eagle.

I'm just gonna quote my book on this one.

Some see it as a hassle, problem, or curse. I see it as a gift. During the day your mind races thinking about so many things. As a high school student my girl is on school work and if any cute girls are in my class. During the day even when I'm alone, sitting in study hall, or on my bed. There are still distractions, that my mind has to think about. So many disruptions from my train of thought. At night though, all of those distractions or disruptions fade away. No more loud dogs barking outside my window, no more talkative students that the teacher never tells to shut up.

Every. Thing. Is silent, and I can finally think. Reflect and form opinions and ideals.

Try masturbating. To quote Zach Galifianakis from due date

"I had a glorious orgasm and I slept like a baby"

Even though I don't have insomnia I agree with this. See like he said at night when your lying in your bed you can think about - things that are on your mind, what your going to do tommorow, and the most importantly how to make that annoying person at school go away.
