Irrespective of the results above, I’m curious: do you guys want to keep the War Bonds system? Do you feel it gets you involved more, or is it a waste of time and effort?

It seems that only a small minority took advantage of it this war. If the system is not going to be utilized much, it may be removed. Let us know what you think on the subject!

I actually really like being able to convert stuff I do on the website (like the Statbook) and convert it into currency for my army's usage. It is a novelty idea and I support the continuation of this service. :)

I think it's about time I changed my user title. Green army needs no field marshall.

Also, does it say that I'm a 'memeber'?

Surrounded by 1's name confused me. I thought he donated 1:1,200 vcash lol.
And nobody donated for REDD did they? I would have if I wasn't so damn poor.

It is a good system, lets people feel as if they are assisting there army in a different way. We just need to get more people involved with it next war!

I would ask that you keep the war bonds system, it does allow for a new level of participation to events that isn't mandatory, but can be useful. I would have used my cash this war to have donated everything however I started with basically nothing and I had forgotten about donating until the last war, and decided to not be a wuss and just put in everything for that 5%.

I would say it just gives that little bit more interaction with what is going on. Like I can sadly say, I didn't realize that we had a warmap until not too long ago and I just amazed at it for both it's quality, and it's ability to bring me in just a little bit more to the community. I think to apply these little things really can make a difference, at least that is the perspective of this guy.

Dang, I wish I knew that you'd be rewarded insane amounts of vCash if you donated...

Question, can you donate to receive War Bonds at any time or just at the beginning of the War?

Captain Poder

Myth, I think you should change it so that War Bounds can only be created at the start of the War. Only really devout patriots are going to donate if say they're pushed back to their capital and are losing heavily. It makes an unfair advantage towards the Army who's dominating. If you can only donate towards War Bonds at the start of the War, then it's still up for grabs, and it's like you're putting your money on the line.

I would revise that to a limit of saying "You can donate as long as one side doesn't hold more than 60% of the maps. Or some other percentage the seems fair, all I know is that there should be a window of grace for people to donate, but you shouldn't let people donate last minute.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I've found a nice solution to it, where your donation only accumulates the interest that is earned for the period of the war after you donate. This means the earlier you donate, the higher your possible payout.

That's better because people dont have vCash at the beginning of the war

I thought that was how the system worked, which is why I donated all near the beginning.

Why would you want to go blue if the system and it's people are changing? (Don't answer this or make a debate of it, more pointing out change is happening)

In theory it also gives a higher possibility of lose

It does. Effectively, it's like gambling with longer odds. You have less certainty that a specific outcome will result from it, but the payout increases as well.
