Boot camp cut off times.

I am not sure if I am the only one, but I think boot camps; should not be run on Sundays. Due to the fact, you are having to rush the new recruits through what defines Forerunner Conflict. It's just a thought, and I believe it should be enforced. Personally I hated running boot camps right before the battles, it is usually rushed and very sloppy. I seen a boot camp were it was literally, "Welcome to F.C, no teabagging, respect the other army, bake cookies, don't teabag, F.C started in Halo 2, welcome to F.C btw, -throws plasma- your in remember what I said." No this was not me, the shortest boot camp I have ever done was 10 minutes long and I hated it. I just think this should be enforced.

I can agree with a cut off time, but specific day, I don't agree. Sunday is a convenient time that everyone is on for. Boot camps are fine as long as they're started well in advance to the actual battle night. If one has to be started late enough that it would obviously be rushed though, I agree, it shouldn't be done. But in general, if someone starts a bootcamp 1-2 hours before the battle night, I don't see the problem.

I believe in a 2-3 hour period due to organization, and to post the boot camp log on time (Idk if BLUE still posts B.C logs).

We post logs, and we do bootcamps on Sunday. We've been doing it, and we've been doing it with ample time to organize our army. This is best left to your army sub-forum; this is essentially an opinion topic.

Agree with Kuhblam.

I run bootcamps a few hours prior to battles for one reason: To get the guys who missed the previous bootcamps in before the battles. The only difference between a camp on Sunday is that its a little more motivated due to the following battle.

I'd do it on Saturday, but people, including me have social lives.

I think there should be a 2-3 cut off. I just think it is fair, that new recruits get a proper boot camp.

Yeah, I agree with Ninja. I've seen the same things he's discussed but it's right before the battle so whatever? Nah.

A 2-3 hr cutoff before wars starts seems good. If the recruit just joined, it's gonna be hard on them anyway. Playing with new people how we do, playing as long as we do; it's not matchmaking.

We can help people feel more welcomed into this community by giving them a feel for it before battles. If so, they won't know what's really going on. They need practice time, this would ensure practice time.

This is for your army, not Blue; our current times work fine. Unless I'm given a specific mandate by either the Forerunners or Raz himself, we'll continue to do things as we are (and they're actually being done quite effectively for the most part.) *Crossing fingers Raz will not give a mandate*

I know this can be army sided Kuhblam, but in the last leg of the beta war; RaZ said, "no boot camps on Sundays." I don't know if this was still in effect, just though I throw this idea out there. I am just trying to be fair to the recruits. <3
