If you haven't noticed, Bungie recently opened a new line of apparel in their Bungie Store (http://www.bungie.net/News/content.aspx?type=news&cid=29872).
I know, it's nothing big. However, Bungie applied for a patent on the logo and name design all the way back in May, which, as some of you may remember, was when Bungie finalized their deal with Activision for a new and promising IP (intellectual property).
So what? No big deal.
But here's where it get's interesting. They registered a website for Bungie Aerospace, aptly called www.BungieAerospace.com. Their slogan is "Per Audacia Ad Astra". "Ad Astra" means "into the stars" and "Per Audacia" roughly means "for boldness". So in effect, "Per Audacia Ad Astra" equals "To Boldly Go Into the Stars" (Star Trek reference FTW).
Whether this is for their new game, or for a new feature their rolling out, I don't know. All I do know is that it involves space, helping the theory of a new universe Bungie wants to play in.
Whatever it is though, I'm kinda excited.
But then again, it's Bungie, and it's probably just nothing.
Happy Turkey Day, my fellow Americans!
