Hello numerous members of Forerunner Conflict!
Recently, a collection of people have came up with the idea of a "welcome video" of sorts to have new members/recruits watch as they join the site. This is to help them understand the forums and how they work, give them some background of the community, explain the rules, RoE, etc.
I've begun to draft up what needs to be included, but I alone can't come up with everything, so I need YOUR help! What would you like to have included in this welcome video? What little nuggets do you think a new recruit needs to know? Below is a list of topics to be covered that I've brainstormed, so please add to the list! :)
- Welcome Message
- Community History
- Faction Details
- Forum Registration
- How The Forums Work
- Rules & Regulations / Accords / Respect Rules (Teabagging etc.)
- Community Events & Initiatives (Battles mostly, but alert them to section for game nights, etc.)
- Important Positions To Know (War Director, Field Marshal, Founder, Precursor, etc.)
Also, I will be doing a smaller video to assist people in understanding the RoE and what not as some have expressed confusion. Anything you feel should be included there please add it as well :)
