At first I was like YESYESYESYESYESYES.

But then I read the article. And I gotta say, I would probably prefer a soft multiplayer type. Like a Co-Op over MMO. I don't know ... I just can't see it working out well. 3 factions? Well, they haven't disappointed me yet, so if anyone can pull it off, it's Bethesda. It's just, Elder Scrolls has always been about an open world and questing. I don't know to expect really lol or how I'll react when it comes out.

Its also been centered around one person, and it has very well established lore... Not sure how I feel bout them suddenly writing that molag bal tried to pull tamriel into coldharbour, and I don't like the fact that it won't revolve on 1 pwerson shaping the world, like it has since the series started..

I think they can pull it off just fine.

If it becomes the game I think it could be, I will never be touching Halo again.

I have a lot of faith, because honestly they haven't let me down so far so why doubt them? But yes i do agree this will be a hard transaction for them.

I wanted co-op, not MMO....

I hope this is good though. It needs to still be like the other older scrolls games, not morphed into a mainstream MMO. That's my worry, too many good RPG series try their hand at MMOs and end up creating an entirely different game.

Looks interesting. for one would like to see some online play in elder scrolls, but not a whole mmo. That what I have runescape for =P
