Temporary Ceasefire Enacted Due to Natural Disasters

I don't think Reach was happy with having a fourth war...


As the conflict between Imperial and Brotherhood forces escalates on Reach, a sudden and unexpected ceasefire has been called.

Military leaders from both faction met and agreed to the ceasefire in response to recent natural disasters throughout the region on the surface of Reach. Humanitarian aid is being distributed by both factions to assist the civilian population.

During the ceasefire, all hostilities and offensive operations shall be halted. All troops from both factions will receive official orders for them to stand down. Resources and effort will be reallocated to assist the civilian population in searching for survivors and will distribute supplies to those in need.

The ceasefire has an established duration of approximately 300 hours. Hostilities are expected to resume in full-force on May 20.


Due to severe damage from the natural disasters, Brotherhood bases on Manifest and Boardwalk are being abandoned.

Troops stationed at Manifest are being shuttled to the orbiting satellite Anchor 9, which will become their new post. The Manifest base is considered lost, and all operations are to be rerouted to Anchor 9.

Boardwalk's troops are being relocated to the nearby facilities, Reflection, which will undertake all responsibilities previously allocated to Boardwalk.

No major loss in soldiers occurred during the evacuations of the Brotherhood bases.


Addendum:

Included within the orders being distributed to all troops are details pertaining to faction training exercises that will be done to ensure all soldiers remain in shape and in preparation for when the ceasefire expires.

On May 13th, at 1800 hours {6:00 PM EST}, an exhibition competition will be held between attending units. Additionally, the event will be used as a propaganda tool to raise the morale of the victims of the natural disasters, as well as to scout possible recruit-candidates.


Summary


May 13th Battles are cancelled. Have a happy Mother's Day!
Manifest (6v6; sym) is replaced by Anchor 9 (4v4; sym).
Boardwalk (6v6; asym) is replaced by Reflection (4v4; asym)
