Well, they recorded real gun sounds out on a range and such... I think this is probably just placeholder audio or something, perhaps?

I do agree with you, though, that the current sounds seem "flushed out" or something...

Everything sounds too light and airy sounding. Like the Battle Rifle sounds half suppressed. Meh, I'm not a fan. And they really need to fix that audio for the announcer xD But unless this is the Alpha, they should have semi-permenant audio files in for the weapons. I haven't really seen Assault Rifle gameplay for multiplayer, but it looks like the BR/DMR looks vastly superior to the AR now.

yeah the audio needs work. Just reloading the guns sound very off. It is Alpha so I'm sure they will get their shit together they got about 4 months to correct it (I know the game comes out in 5 months but you also got to take into account the time it takes to make and burn the dics plus packaging and shipping)

These were two of the dozen video's on the MLG website I posted a couple threads down . . . whatever.

Honestly I hardly noticed the announcers voice, now that you guys mention it . . . it isn't great but it's not terrible (to me).

The game still looks really fast and good to me but I'm not so hot about the range Promethean Vision has . . . I mean you know when you get tagged but the person who tagged you could be a floor up or down or even two rooms away. Too much range imo.

EDIT: I don't know whose noticed yet but if you pay attention during the silent parts of the video you'll hear that the multiplayer finally has music in the background. Also during one of the MLG commentaries in my other thread one of the Halo 4 designers says that the game will play different kinds of music according to whats going on in the game. Nearing victory, grabbing a flag, etc will all make different kind of music play. Sounds pretty cool
