With Halo 4 incoming, this seemed like a great, fun yet competitive community to get involved and to get back into the game.

I look forward fighting alongside my Redd brothers and obliterating those nasty Blues!


Also, I just got here and I'm not entirely sure what's going on. I understand this is peace time, so when does the war begin again? Furthermore, when and how do I register for bootcamp?

Welcome to FC Oxide, the next war should start sometime in January once we work out all of the kinks in Halo 4, and as far as Boot Camps you should send a message to Gargoyle who is a member of the High Command of REDD who does most of the bootcamps, he will help you there

Anyway, welcome to FC! I'm REDD Brigadier General VerbotenDonkey. Glad you decided to join REDD, Imperials all the way! To get started, get in contact with our Lieutenant General, Gargoyle, and we'll get you set up with a Bootcamp and placed into a Unit. Yes, this is peace time, and unfortunately, Wars tend to last several Months, so with Halo 4 coming out and a War just ending, it wouldn't really work to start another one. And once Halo 4 launches, we need to time to integrate our Custom Games system into the new settings that Halo 4 has, as well as edit around with the Maps upon game release, hopefully getting some cool Forge Maps created. And with the Holidays shortly after, we predict the first War happening come the beginning of January. Sounds like a far time away, but we do have lots of Events planned for inbetween, plus I bet there will be PLENTY of new stuff to play around with in Halo 4 to keep everyone busy while we get setup.
