What Jugg said. Making things up on the spot is half the fun. Remember, you shouldn't have a set story with too much detail, just a rough outline of things. Let other events shape what happens with your character.

What he said. A good example of this is that I originally had planned for Jack to enter Reach away from all the other characters and have him uncover evidence of their operations. Then I read Ghosthammer's bio, and thought, "If there's anyone Jack's interested in meeting, it's Spartan II's from before his time as a Spartan. If there's anyone who wouldn't want to answer directly to the new regime, but still not want to answer to the Brotherhood, it's them."


That's why I decided to drop into the same jungle as them.

May I suggest that people start heading their entries. I get so confused reading things and trying to piece them together!

@Ghost. This is just a little canon thing I picked up on. You're character is a Spartan-II, but his tag is something in the 500's. No Spartan-II's were created with tags over 150 I do believe. Don't mean to sound like a prick about it, just something I noticed :p

@Coda. I don't know if it's your intention to do this, but you switch between 3rd and 1st person with the same character and it's confusing as hell.

All Spartan-II numbers are random. There wasn't even close to 150 graduated recruits, and the highest recorded was Cal-141. I simply used a number I've used for many years. Black Team was never given proper designations, so it can be assumed they're numbers are any 2-3 number combination.

Also, as common with some SOF units, their numbers are altered to ensure enemy intel remains off. SEAL Team 6 was listed to make the Russians believe there were at least 6 teams. Say my Spartan was one of those to make Innies think we had a lot ;)

It switches to first person when having a flashback. Because what's going on in his flashback was traumatizing to the character, I make it first person, which will allow some people to connect to it more. It's also a different story put into one. The changes are intentional, and the flashbacks are suppose to be kind of confusing, but they're indicated in the story.

I've read everything, but I'm reading the Iliad for my Honors English IV class, along with another book, plus I'm writing for this, and a story I've been writing. So I'm a bit jumbled up.
