and the one thing i gotta ask is what the hell happened to the forerunner rank? I mean really? when i started it was something people wanted but now with all these extra admin ranks its just ridiculous.

Generals are admins.
Myth is an admin.
Metkil is the Super Admin.

The forerunner rank has evolved to something different than it once was, hence why there aren't many of them.
