Am I the only one that found the ending super corny?

Like I'm so into the game and it's amazing the whole time and then it ends like that and thats it????

I think that it would of been cool if they let you choose Desmond's fate but they left it open for more games. Desmond's story is over but we play as someone who is trying to stop Juno. I think that it was fine, though.
