Go to 1:12 and tell me that isn't the most adorable sound ever!
So yeah, I'm planning on getting and raising a domesticated fox in the next ten years. I want to get settled down in my own place, and it's mandatory you have to build an outdoor pen for them, which is a bit costly, but I'm dead set on owning either a domesticated fox or domesticated wolf cub. Now, it's about $8000 dollars in import one from Russia and they have to be really young because after 60 days, they won't recognize anyone else as an owner, but they are bred to crave human touch and attention. It started in the 1950's when a Soviet Geneticist wanted to isolate the genes that made dogs and cats domesticated and he wanted to find them in one life time. So he was part of a fur company in Russia and he took the foxes who had the least pull away from humans and he started breeding them. He died before he could finish his work, but people took over his research and are still trying to find the genes, but they're in financial trouble as Russia hit some tough times recently, so they're selling some of their foxes to keep up funding.
You can also find some breeders here in the US and I'm not sure how much they cost, but probably almost as much.

^ That guy owns one he got from Oklahoma.
But yeah, basically they are bred to just want human interaction, they wouldn't be able to survive in the wild on their own and although they do nibble sometimes, they aren't viscous at all.
Sooo yeah just thought I'd share my upcoming pet story. :) Foxes are adorable and I will soon own one.
Question though, should I go with the arctic white or the auburn color?
